After you have registered with cervicalcheck you should receive a letter inviting you to attend for a smear. Once you have received your letter phone the surgery to make an appointment ,you will need to have your PPS number when making the

Without the invitation letter from cervicalcheck, and your PPS number the smears will not be processed.

Phlebotomy Clinics
Phlebotomy Clinics (blood test clinic) are held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings between 9:30 and 11 am.  If fasting blood tests are required (e.g. fasting cholesterol or blood sugar level) or blood tests which need to be delivered to the hospital for testing on the same day as the sample is taken, appointments should be made  early in the morning. Most other blood tests can be taken at any time.

Please note:  due to the large number of tests taken on a daily basis it is not possible for patients to be contacted individually with results so it is important that you contact the surgery for your results. We would appreciate if you could do this between the hours of 3pm and 4.30.
